Portland friends, visit me at this special event!
I am pleased to be part of the Oregon Botanical Artists booth at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry for Bees & Botanicals night! Our booth will include art from some of our members and an informative display on native plants for bees and birds. My latest series of botanical giclee prints, cards, and some original watercolors will be for sale along with several brand new encaustic pieces featuring (you guessed it) bees and botanicals! Beeswax is the perfect medium to paint bees in, isn’t it? And if you’ve been following me, you know I love mixed media, it was an absolute joy working in a different medium for a change. I’m excited to unveil my first series of encaustic pieces at the show!
